Workout:

  • Easy 5 miler in slush. It rained. Then, snowed. Then, rained again. What a mess. It was A LOT of fun! I was glad to have worn older shoes.

Treadmill Workout:

  • Run/Walk - 30 minutes at an easy pace
  • Threshold Run Workout / 20 minutes
  • Whole Body Workout / 25 minutes

It was a snow day which meant e-learning. I had extra time to work out. I also shoveled the driveway. It was only a few inches, but there was a layer of ice underneath the snow.

  • Today is the first day of my new training program. My goal is to get back into good running shape. I have no future races. This month my focus is to comfortably increase my mileage to around 40 miles.

  • My workouts were easy, but I feel as if I am making fitness headway. I know my treadmill better in terms of the speed settings for accurate pacing. I found some trainers that seem like a good fit for my personality and motivation needs. 
  • For this week, I am hopeful to add more consistency with my weight training and balance stability.
