Workout: Recovery Run

I ran with my son this morning which is always a lot of fun. He is trying to get back into the running world. We are doing a 10K at the end of June in Indy. With Mother's Day around the corner, he gave me a new running belt which is totally sleek and form fitting. I tried it out this morning. I rocked it!

I ran a mile this afternoon with my Girls on the Run group. Running with 3rd - 6th graders is an adventure in patience. No matter how many times we talk about running strategies, they ALWAYS start at full-throttle. Our t-shirts should say, 6 second runners. That's all we've got!

This was a solid workout. I am pleased that my pacing is more consistent. I really did not want to run this morning so it was nice  to perform well in spite of myself.
