Workout: Long run
- The outside temperature was 13°. If I had a short run, I'd be outside. 20+ miles is a long time to keep my fingers and toes warm. Dealing with Raynaud Phenomenon is a hassle at times.
- I ran for about 3 1/2 hours on the treadmill. Yes! It was fun! My brain accomplished and orginized so many ideas! I focused on my nutrition and hydration. I visulaized my upcoming race course and strategized over the areas where I fell apart last year. I contemplated whether I could truly retire in the next few years from teaching. I realized that my will needs to be updated to include the grandkids and I formulated a children's book idea to author.
- I ran a pace of 11:20 which was faster than the 12:35 pace that was on my training schedule. The entire run felt light and carefree.
