My training schedule called for Spin class. On Tuesday, the instructor announced that the music for Thursday would be a battle between Queen and some other similar rock band. I knew that music would put me in a bad, bad mood so I ran on the treadmill instead. It's funny how music affects people.

A few years back, I had a night job in retail. Around Christmas time, I heard the song "Marshmallow World" so many times, I became angry at the thought of it. Like, every run around that time was 30 seconds per mile faster, because I was so angry I couldn't get that song out of my head. ....wait what was I talikng about? Um, so yeah, music has a strange connection to exercise!
